Digital Gauge Clusters

We got asked by ID4motion to design a series of new digital gauge cluster housings and covers. They already have several products availalbe for the market and wanted to extend their product range.

A example of their product is one for The BMW 3 Series E46. A Digital Cluster that’s a Plug and Play product that replaces the original OEM instrument cluster of your vehicle, offering support of original functionalities, lots of customization options, and much more.

So we started by reverse engineering by 3D scanning the original cluster and dashboard creating a digital envoirment to engineer the new housing and cover maching their existing product line.

We only did the hardware side of the conversion, ID4motion supplied the digital display and was taking care of the analog input to digital output and screendesigns for the clusters as is their expertise.

So far we have done serveral Digital Gauge Clusters for a variaty of BMW’s and Honda’s and there are more brands and models to come.
